What happens when you fill in the contact form?

The form asks for your name, your email address, your company or organisation, a comment and an action code. You choose what you write in the comment field, so please do not put sensitive details there.

We use what you send us to answer you. That is all we do with it. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not use your details for advertising, and we do not pass them to anyone else.

Your message is stored by GetResponse, who host our website and our form, and we read it there.

What happens when you ask for the one-pager?

On our page about the demo you can ask us to send you the OPTIQUEST one-pager. We ask for your name and your email address, and you tick a box to say we may use your address for that.

We use your address to send you the one-pager and to keep you posted about OPTIQUEST. You are on the list as soon as you tick the box; we do not send a confirmation mail first.

We keep your address for three months. After that we delete it, even if you never unsubscribed.

Do we see whether you open our emails?

Yes, and we want to be straight about it, because most companies leave this out.

Our email tool, GetResponse, records whether you opened one of our mails and which link you clicked. We use that to see whether our mails are useful to you. We do not use it to build a profile of you, we do not give you a score, and we do not share it with anyone.

If you would rather not have this, unsubscribe. Then we stop mailing you and we delete your address.

How do you unsubscribe?

Every mail we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click is enough.

When you unsubscribe, we delete your address. We do not keep it on a list to remember that you left. Taking back your permission is as easy as giving it, and it does not affect the mails we sent you before.

Does this website use cookies?

We checked this on 24 August 2026 with the browser's own tools, on the live site.

Before you touch the cookie banner, this website places nothing on your device. No cookies, no local storage, nothing at all. If you click "Decline all cookies", it still places nothing. That is how it should work, and we tested that it does.

If you accept cookies, the website stores a small note in your browser so that it does not have to ask you again on your next visit.

To undo your choice, clear this website's data in your browser. Your cookie choice then disappears and the banner asks you again.

What about the fonts?

This website loads its typefaces from fonts.bunny.net, a font service run by another company. That happens as soon as you open a page, before any cookie choice, because a page cannot be shown without a typeface.

Loading a font puts nothing on your device — we checked. But your browser does have to ask that company for the file, and to do that it sends your IP address and your browser type. That is all they get from us: we send them nothing about you ourselves.

We are looking at hosting the typefaces ourselves, so that this request disappears.

What about the playable demo?

The demo lives at play.inventoryplanninggame.com. It is built and hosted by another company, Bits of Love. It opens in a new tab and is not part of this website.

You do not need an account, and we do not ask who you are. The first screen asks for a team name, which becomes your company name inside the game. Bits of Love confirmed to us in writing that their server keeps nothing at all from the demo — not your team name, and not what you do in the game.

One thing we want to be honest about: opening the demo is still a visit to somebody else's website. To send you the game, their servers receive your IP address, the same way any website you open receives it. That is unavoidable, and it is not the same thing as being tracked.

Who else gets your data, and where are they?

GetResponse hosts our website, sends our emails and our contact forms - They are based in POland (European Union)

Bunny delivers the typeface your browser shows (see above)

That is the whole list. We use no advertising networks, no analytics tools and no tracking pixels on this website. We do not sell your data. We only pass it on if the law obliges us to.

What are your rights?

You can ask us to:

- see what we have about you;

- correct it if it is wrong;

- delete it;

- stop using it, or use it less;

- hand it over to you in a normal file format;

- object to us using it, where we use it because of our legitimate interest.

Mail filip@quester.be. We answer within one month and it costs you nothing. We may ask you to prove who you are, so that we do not hand your data to somebody else.

Where can you complain?

First, mail us — most things we can simply fix.
